Program Qualifications

To ensure a valuable experience for all participants, membership in the Ed-tech Leadership Collective’s programs is limited to professionals with relevant functional and managerial leadership experience.

For Accelerator Programs, prospective members are typically qualified through a brief exploratory conversation or based on a nomination from a sponsoring executive at their company.

For Forum Programs, members are responsible for selecting the group most appropriate to their functional role and leadership level prior to enrollment and payment. Executive Forums are intended for professionals at the VP, SVP, or C-level. Leadership Forums are designed for Directors or Senior Managers and typically serve as people-managers.

Professionals who are currently in a career transition are welcome to participate in Forum Programs, provided they meet the experience requirements.

If a prospective member is unsure whether a program is a good fit, they should contact the Ed-tech Leadership Collective prior to enrollment via the form at: https://edtechcollective.org/contact

If the Ed-tech Leadership Collective determines that a member is not an appropriate fit for the selected program, the Collective may, at its sole discretion, offer to:

  • Reassign the member to a more appropriate program, or
  • Provide a prorated refund for unused services (minus a 5% transaction fee). If there is a fee difference between programs (e.g., Executive Forum vs. Leadership Forum), the Collective will issue a prorated refund of the difference, less a 5% transaction fee.

Delivery of Services

All services provided by the Ed-tech Leadership Collective are delivered digitally via scheduled virtual meetings, cohort sessions, and online resources. Membership details, program start dates, and access information are provided via email upon successful enrollment and qualification.

Cancellation Policy

All memberships are sold for a defined term, renewing on either an annual or monthly basis. Members may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. Members can cancel their services by updating their information on the payment page used for registration, or they may contact the Collective directly. However, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for any unused portion of the current membership period. (See Refund Policy below.)

Refund Policy

As a general policy, refunds are not provided for early termination of a membership prior to the renewal date.

Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of the Ed-tech Leadership Collective based on:

  • The circumstances surrounding the termination, and
  • The Collective’s ability to refill the vacated membership seat.

Any refund, if granted, will be prorated and may be subject to a 5% transaction fee.
