CC Feb. 2026 Making Progress

Leading in K–12 ed-tech often means managing through periods of ambiguity. Sometimes your organization's strategic priorities may be unclear or in a state of flux. The data to make informed decisions may be incomplete but you still need to demonstrate forward progress.

For Functional Leaders and Emerging Leaders, the ability to remain flexible and motivate your team to adapt to these shifts is an essential part of your leadership role.

Join us on February 24th for a small-group discussion focused on how leaders can exercise judgement, maintain momentum, and lead with confidence even when the path forward continues to evolve.

Attendees will share insights, best practices and strategic perspectives in a peer-to-peer dialog. We’ll explore several key questions including:

  • How do you personally decide when you have “enough” information to act?
  • How do you manage-up when the data—or a lack of data—heightens the level of risk in your work?
  • What are some strategies for keeping your team focused and motivated when the plan changes?
  • How do you maintain credibility when you know decisions are being made based on imperfect data?

The discussion will be facilitated by Collin Earnst, Founder and Managing Partner of the Ed-tech Leadership Collective.

This free event is open to members of the Ed-tech Leadership Collective, as well as ed-tech community members in Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and Individual Contributor roles in Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales.

Please note: Our session will be an active dialog among all participants and there is a limited number of seats for the event. Please only register if you're able to fully engage in the discussion. Recordings of our Collective Conversations events are made available exclusively for our Ed-tech Leadership Collective members
